Think of Those in Haiti as You Shop This Weekend
Just a quick post to say that we at SmartShopIt are thinking of those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. While we’re shopping this weekend, maybe we can not buy one or two things and use that money to help those in need. They say every little bit helps. Send a little hope if you can. We have provided you with this list of several organizations currently working to provide aid and relief.
The American Red Cross – www.redcross.org
Text “Haiti” to 90999 to donate $10 (billed to your phone)

Yes, feel sorry for all the victim, remembered what happened to my country when tsunami swapped thousand houses and people
I don’t know if they’re still doing it, but Whole Foods was allowing you to “round up” your purchase to give the extra pennies to Haiti, and also letting you add $1, $5, or $10 to your grocery purchase to go towards one of the organizations helping Haiti.
Thanks for the tip Troi. Reminds us of the Bank of America “round up” program. But this one goes to a good cause.
